MUAR – A man died after being trapped in a car driven by a kind of Perodua MyVi mired under a bus accident in Batu 7 Jalan Muar - Pagoh , here , yesterday.
In the scene at about 11:15 am , the victim , Toon Cheng Toh , 47 , from Sengkang , Pagoh died at the scene due to severe head injuries and limb.
Victims of the Pagoh towards Muar believed to have tried to pass a car in front of him but failed before colliding with a bus coming from the opposite direction.
The incident also resulted in crowded route as far as a mile .
Bus conductor , Wahab Mohamad , 66 , said the bus began its journey from Muar at 10:15 am for the Bukit Kepong.
"The bus is boarded five passengers and when arrived at the scene , the car is on the trail.
" The bus driver could not avoid because then the road little crowded and there is a breach ," he said .
He said all the passengers shocked when he heard a loud crash and saw the driver of the car was dangling and died .
"I thank all survived without any injuries, including passenger and the bus driver.
"This is the first incident I have experienced crashes after more than five years as a bus conductor , " he said.
Operating Officer Fire and Rescue District Muar , Johar Tumin said nine members with a vehicle rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at about 11:30 am .
" We took about 20 minutes to extricate victims trapped in the driver's seat, " he said.
Meanwhile, Muar OCPD ACP Azman Ayob , when contacted, confirmed receiving the report of the incident.
" His body was brought to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital ( HPSF ) for autopsy before his family claimed .
