Drowning victim found

PONTIAN;Fish cage owners feared drowned after slipping from the jetty to board the boat when it last night, rescuers found yesterday.
Chief Fire Station New Pontian, Zulbahary Sulong said the bodies Yeo Kim Soon, 76, rescuers found about 8.15 am.
"His body was found floating near the lighthouse which is located approximately one mile from the location of the victim fell.
"His body was found in a state of complete dress and sent to the Pontian Hospital for autopsy," he said.
Meanwhile, Pontian OCPD Supt Zahaliman Jamin when contacted, confirmed the discovery of the bodies.

Search and rescue begins after the family lodged a police report on the incident around 9.30 pm yesterday.
