TANJUNG MALIM: A truck driver nearly killed when the vehicle he was driving suddenly caught fire after it crashed into a truck in the event of 368.4 kilometers North-South Expressway near Slim River towards South , near here, this morning .
In the incident at about 6.45 am , a truck laden with cement on the way to Kuala Lumpur believed lost control and crashed into a truck in front of him .
Tanjung Malim OCPD Supt Othman Nanyan when contacted, said the accident involving four vehicles caused traffic jams up to five miles .
" As a result of the breach truck driven by the victim suffered burn damage .

" A Honda Accord which violates braking from a burning truck causing hit from behind by a Proton Wira , " he said.
He said there were no casualties reported so far.
He said both drivers had to report the accident and both the truck driver failed to detect.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 ( 1 ) Road Transport Act 1987.
