Fire Information : Fire Bihar parts so appointed ambassadors retired firefighter


KOTA BHARU 30 December - Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department ( JBPM ) Kelantan plans to appoint retired firefighters as ' Young Ambassadors ' department since 2014.

Its director , Azmi Osman said retirees would act as a presenter of information to the community related to fire hazard prevention .

He said the move could indirectly promote awareness among the public about the dangers of fire prevention .

" Our desire , want of knowledge related to fire hazard owned by retired firefighter is shared by the community out there , thus it can reduce the risk .

" Experience while on duty is an important asset for retirees and the fire department wants that advantage be useful for the people .

" They will be given a specific task as ambassadors department even had to leave his career as a firefighter , " he said.

He was speaking to reporters in Remembered Jasamu Council of State in the Office of the Tunjong JBPM near here last night.

In the event, he also presented certificates of appreciation to the people of Bihar media has a lot to give full cooperation to the department during the year 2013.

In another development, Azmi praised the state media characterized in the department helped promote awareness about fire danger to the community in the state.

He said the contribution made by the media over coverage on the duties of fire has changed the perceptions of the job department.

"I admit , the role played by the media is large enough . I hope that cooperation between the media and the department will be stronger after this , " he said.
